The exciting lectures and detailed posters presented at the conference are the heart of EFTF and IFCS.

In this year, we give their authors a stronger option for publishing the work they presented by improving the peer review of the collected proceedings. As before, any submission of a paper to the proceedings remains entirely optional.

For all authors that would like to see their work available online this year, the path to publication will be:

Submit a full two-page abstract,

including references and figures where appropriate. Please give details of your work and follow the instructions of the abstract template (PDF / Word).

First review by the Technical Program Committee

The acceptance notification may now come with feedback and requests for changes.

Register at least one author at the full rate

Student or other limited registrations do not qualify. One registration supports up to two publications.

Present

the accepted submission at the conference.

Decide

to submit an extended final paper, to resubmit the original abstract as the final paper, or not to submit a final paper after all.

All final papers

are checked for compliance with IEEE policies, including a plagiarism check.

Second review

by members of the Technical Program Committee.

Publication in IEEE Xplore,

a conference journal committed to the same peer-review standards as regular scientific periodicals.
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including removal from IEEE Xplore, if the submission does not meet IEEE standards for scope and/or quality, or if the paper was not presented at the conference.

EFTF-IFCS 2027 still welcomes the submission of formless abstracts for the selection of posters and presentations. However, these no longer enter the publication queue, since they lack the substance needed for a publication-focused first review.

  • Please consider contributing to the proceedings.
  • Please consider a full two-page abstract according to the template.
  • Please understand that the tight publication schedule does not allow for revisions after the second review, and please make sure that your final paper is in good shape when you submit it.
  • Please note that the use of AI should be disclosed for any submitted abstract or paper.
